Georgetown Secret Garden

For the Georgetown Garden project our clients wanted to revamp their backyard into a vibrant outdoor oasis. The goal was to create a versatile space that seamlessly integrated a patio, outdoor kitchen, garden, and water feature while ensuring privacy.

To achieve this vision, we undertook a comprehensive overhaul, removing overgrown vegetation and 11 mature trees. An existing structural wall was restored and enhanced to provide a solid foundation for the new design. A central focal point was established with a spacious Azek pergola, complete with an automated roof and outdoor kitchen. To the side, we crafted a sun-drenched lounging patio anchored by a calming masonry fountain. The lower garden featured an imported antique French fountain to add depth and character to the space.

Privacy was paramount, so we strategically planted large trees on opposite ends of the property lines to create a tranquil and secluded environment. A custom-made metal screen offered additional privacy while opening the space towards the main space adorned with lush perennials and shrubs. The outdoor kitchen area was thoughtfully designed and enclosed with a masonry wall. The lower garden, featuring a permeable seating area and repurposed paving materials, evoked the historic charm of the historic 1840s home and created a truly enchanting atmosphere.
