With this thoughtfully planned Bethesda, MD project the homeowners approached us with several priorities, driven by a blend of practical needs and the desire to modernize key living spaces. They came to us with concerns about exterior deterioration around siding and trim as well as a vision for a reimagined kitchen and smarter use of underutilized interior spaces. Our holistic approach prioritized both repair and reinvention, ensuring that function and aesthetics worked hand-in-hand.
We began by addressing the failing exterior elements, replacing damaged siding and trim with durable, weather-resistant materials to protect the home from further moisture intrusion. Inside, the kitchen was transformed into a chef-friendly space with improved flow, induction cooking, and modern finishes. Storage and layout were carefully considered to suit the lifestyle of the homeowners. On the third floor, we enclosed an existing balcony to create a bright, year-round home office and resolved HVAC venting issues in the adjacent bedroom closet. Additional updates included custom built-ins in the living room, contributing to a more cohesive and elevated interior design.
Throughout the project, thoughtful detailing brought character to each space, while smart sequencing ensured the renovation progressed efficiently. The result is a refreshed home that feels intentional, resilient, and well suited to its owners.
