Ethan Landis

Ethan Landis has been passionate about our design/build company since starting it in 1990. He loves the business side and building the company, finding, hiring, and motivating great employees, as well as working with clients to make their homes fabulous.

He previously sat on the District’s Construction Code Coordinating Board, helping the city establish green construction codes. He and his firm have received two Mayor’s Sustainability Awards for their leadership. He served two terms (9 years) on the Mayor’s Green Building Advisory Board that helps oversee DC’s Green Building Act. He is currently a member of the Potomac River Keepers board, and he is a former board member of the Rock Creek Conservancy. He enjoys hiking the trails in Rock Creek Park.

Ethan and his wife Jude live in the Crestwood neighborhood of Northwest DC. He and his wife love spending time at their “family farm” in central Vermont.
