Ours clients for this Bethesda project transformed their home into a spacious, accessible, and sustainable forever home for an aging couple. By maximizing the generous lot, we created a home that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living while prioritizing aging-in-place features. The project involved a complete demolition and rebuild, with a strong focus on sustainable elements like optimal solar orientation and creating a space to welcome family and entertain friends.

The home’s layout is centered around accessibility and functionality. A level entry, walk-in garage, and strategically placed elevator ensure effortless navigation throughout the house for years to come. The open floor plan promotes a sense of spaciousness while maintaining clear sightlines. Careful attention was paid to creating a smooth flow between living areas, particularly in the primary suite where wider clearances accommodate future wheelchair use.

A Craftsman-inspired aesthetic defines the home’s exterior and interior. Clean lines, natural materials, and understated details create a timeless and inviting atmosphere.
