Matt Dirksen, AIA

Director of Project Development & Record Architect

Matt is a licensed architect in Maryland and has a BS-Architecture from the University of Maryland, as well as a master’s degree from San Francisco Institute of Architecture, a school that specializes in green architecture and ecological design. For over 25 years, Matt has worked almost exclusively in residential design-build in the DC Metropolitan area, having been deeply involved in the design and construction of beautiful projects within hundreds of single family homes throughout the area. 

He brings a rich blend of excitement, simplicity and pragmatism to every project, and has a passion to help clients truly realize their dreams. Matt and his family live in the historic City of Greenbelt, Maryland, where Matt has served on their Advisory Committee for Environmental Sustainability since 2008. As an Eagle Scout and outdoor enthusiast, Matt is often found hiking or camping in the woods with his family, or volunteering at the nearby Scout troop.
