Ryan first discovered his love for design during his senior year of high school, where his natural creativity intersected with his deep appreciation for the world around him. His diverse passions—ranging from the great outdoors to culinary arts, music, skiing, DJing and architecture—eventually led him to pursue a degree in Environmental Design with an emphasis on Architecture at the University of Colorado Boulder. There, he honed his skills while soaking in the inspiration of Colorado’s stunning landscapes and innovative architectural scene.
With over a decade of experience in residential and commercial architecture, Ryan has developed a well-rounded expertise that bridges the practical with the artistic. His approach to design is informed by a love for clean lines, sustainable practices, and a keen eye for detail. After 10 years in Colorado, Ryan returned to his roots in Washington DC, bringing his experience and fresh perspectives back to his hometown.
As the youngest son of Chris Landis, co-founder of the firm, and brother to Kyle Landis, Ryan is proud to carry on the family legacy in design. Now, as one of the newest members of the project design team, he plays an integral role in creating construction documents and shaping projects from concept to completion. Whether it's preserving the charm of historic buildings or pushing the boundaries with modern renovations, Ryan is deeply involved in every facet of the design process. His energy, fresh outlook, and dedication to craftsmanship ensure that each project not only meets but exceeds expectations.
