As a DC native and with parents in the building industry, Rachel Wagner was inspired to become an architect from her father bringing her to job sites of historic buildings around the city. Instead of following in her family’s footsteps as a roofer, she wanted to be the designer.
Rachel earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in architecture at the Catholic University of America and holds her architect license in DC, Maryland and Virginia. After practicing commercial architecture for ten years and residential for eight, Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Landis. She excels at connecting deeply with her clients to fully understand and deliver on the design challenge. Her favorite architectural style to design or live in, is contemporary because the clean lines and abundant natural light bring a sense of calm and serenity.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys both coaching and playing soccer, attending concerts, and spending time with her kids.
