Growing up in Granada, Nicaragua (a Spanish colonial city) , as early as high school, Juan was drawn to the blend of creativity and technical skill inherent in architecture. Throughout his career, Juan has found immense satisfaction in seeing his designs come to life on the job site. The process reignites his passion and drives him to strive for excellence and quality in all his work. At Landis, Juan appreciates the holistic approach of design-build and the fostering of teamwork and integrity. He takes pride in the positive impact our projects have on clients' lives and the joy they experience in their new spaces.
To those aspiring to work in architecture, Juan advises, "Stay curious and never stop learning. Embrace challenges, push your creative boundaries, and value collaboration. Remember the impact your work can have on people's lives and strive to make a positive difference."
Outside of work, Juan is a devoted family man. He cherishes his time with his wonderful wife Jessica, their two incredible daughters, Amelia and Camila, and their adorable Yorkies, Louis and Juliet. When not exploring new grilling techniques, delving into history, attending dressage lessons, or unwinding with a video game, Juan is actively involved in his church and his daughters’ school.
