Responsibilities:
- Ensure employee and trade partner compliance with OSHA/NAHB and EPA lead-safe practices
- Deliver the highest level of client satisfaction with exemplary client experience
- Support achievement of production goals employing company best practices
- Provide Project Managers and the Electrical Division Manager with regular project updates, schedules, change order requests, using daily logs, and uploading photos into Builder Trend
- Ensure the image of the company is supported by the appearance and activities of the installation teams and job sites.
- Inspect the work of Trade Partners to assure conformance to specifications and inspection readiness
- Provide instruction and training to others on the proper method and process necessary to carry out electrical assignments
- Performs more complex, difficult, or non-routine electrical assignments requiring specialized knowledge or skill
- Maintain an operational inventory of necessary tools, safety equipment, and vehicles to perform specific activities assigned by the Production Manager
- Dispense project punch and warranty lists in a timely manner
- Employ green and sustainable best practices with continued education
- Participate in Project Hand-offs, ensuring a clear understanding of client needs, designer’s intent, and production considerations
- Support monitoring of staff for compliance with Landis codes of behavior
Knowledge and understanding of:
- Residential construction and remodeling
- Residential building trades and their pre-requisites for production
- Basic management practices
- Construction techniques, tools, equipment, and materials
- Quality cost control
- Electrical codes and those specific to DC/VA/MD
- Plans, specifications, and contracts
- Inspection process
- Electrical finishes and installation requirements

- Advanced knowledge of residential electrical construction
- Adept at organization, ability to prioritize, and multitasking
- Prompt, follow through with Project Managers, clients, vendors, and subs
- Basic budget management and personnel management
- Able to review the work of trade partners for quality and accuracy
- Proficient at interpreting drawings and specifications
- Solid communication skills
- Proficient with Builder Trend
- Strong mathematical skills and analytical skills
- Proper use of safety equipment
Requirements:
- Valid work permit (USA)
- Local residency (DC, Maryland, or Virginia)
What We Prefer:
- 5 years of Demonstrated success as a Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician
Pay Range: $35/hr – $45/hr
